Alpine Fly Fishers was organized in the spring of 1973 by fly fishing enthusiasts who wanted more from the sport of fly fishing. The club consists of approximately 40 individuals who usually meet regularly to promote and enjoy the great sport of fly fishing.
If you live in the area, attend one of our meetings to see if we are a club that you would be interested in joining. Some of our members fish all over the world, others, like myself, like to stay in the great Pacific Northwest.

Club Meeting Information
At the request of the majority of our club members, the Alpine Fly Fishers club meetings will now be a luncheon meeting, not an evening meeting. We also modified the day of the month to the third Tuesday rather than the fourth Tuesday.
Alpine Fly Fishers meets on the third Tuesday of every month. The meetings are usually suspended during the months of July and August to provide members time for fishing trips and vacations.
The socializing hour and dinner begin at 11:30 am. A short business meeting starts at 12:00 pm. We then have our ‘Liar’s Cup’ where members can tell us about their most recent fishing exploits. This is followed by a Guest Speaker’s presentation and we end the day with a raffle. The raffles consist of a wide variety of fishing related items including rods, reels, lots of flies, fly tying tools and materials, some delicious home baked goods and other items used by fly fishers. The membership is diverse in its fishing interests.
Club members come from the following areas: Puyallup; Tacoma; Auburn; Enumclaw; Buckley; Kent; Lakewood; Federal Way; Edgewood; Milton; Roy; Langley; Spanaway; Maple Valley; Graham; Auburn; Bonney Lake; Lake Tapps; Seattle and Sumner.
