Welcome to the New Alpine Fly Fishers website
Please Note our new url alpineflyfishers.org
Alpine Fly Fishers was organized in the spring of 1973 by fly fishing enthusiasts who wanted more from the sport of fly fishing. The club now consists of approximately 50 individuals who usually meet regularly to promote and enjoy the great sport of fly fishing. However, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, all in-person meetings have been cancelled for the remainder of 2020 but we hope to start having meetings in the early portion of 2021. However, we are going to start having Zoom meetings on the 4th Tuesday of November, the 24th. The following meeting will be on the 3rd Tuesday, December 15. Starting in January 2021, all the meetings will take place on the 4th Tuesday and will go for several hours. However, our November meeting will be a short one, between 7:00 PM & 7:40 PM.

Club Meeting Information
Due to the Covid-19 threat there will be no in-person meetings until sometime early in 2021
We are starting Zoom meetings on Tuesday, November 24th from 7:00 to 7:40 PM.
Alpine Fly Fishers meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month. The meetings are usually suspended during the months of July and August to provide members time for fishing trips and vacations. The December meeting is usually on the 3rd Tuesday to avoid conflicts with the Christmas holidays. Socializing and dinner begin at 6:00pm. A five minute business meeting starts at 7:00pm. We then have our ‘Liar’s Cup’ where members can tell us about their most recent fishing exploits. This is followed by a Guest Speaker’s presentation then we end the evening with a raffle. The raffles consist of a wide variety of fishing related items including rods, reels, lots of flies, fly tying tools and materials, some delicious home baked goods and other items used by fly fishers. The membership is diverse in its fishing interests. Most of us live in the Puyallup, Tacoma, Auburn, and Enumclaw areas. Come to our meeting and join in the fun. We are a family friendly group.
